The slow rock of her rocking chair creaks and groans under the influence of the aged wooden oak it is made of. Delilah leans forward with pursed wrinkled lips and shhhhhh's you. "Don't say a word child. Let me tell you the family history of the Dexter Clan"
There was Betty Dexter. Most just called her Nanna.
Nanna is 145 years old. Her body continues to age though the grim reaper has not stolen her from this world just yet. Her ability allows her to speak to the trees in hushed whispers. She can fill them with murderous violence and envoke them to attack on command. Nanna has tapped into a supernatural life force essence and she steals life from the trees that obey her. She continues to age, but child..... She will live as long as she wants too, or until there is nothing but a pile of dusty bones in her rocking chair....

Of course there is my sweet boy Melvin. Such a sweet and simple child. He likes to play games. He is a fun sort of boy with only playfulness in his heart. Sure you have to clean up after him and bury the occasional body or two, but a mother loves her son enough to endure these wounds and I would go to the ends of the earth for any of my children.

Of course then there's Bobby Drake. Another angel I sired if i do say so myself. Bobby Drake is not a killer at heart, but a killer by flawed design. Ya see... The good lord made it so that Bobby Drake could only eat, by eating fear. He can't eat normal food like you or i. It would kill him. He can only eat fear and he has to drive them right up to the point of death before feeding. Now, as you can imagine he can't go around leaving witnesses. That just wouldn't do. So at the end of the day he is a killer just like the rest of us...

Then there was my boy Rory. Trouble boy he was. Didn't like the Dexter lifestyle. Didn't want to be a killer. At least.... That's how it looked. You see. Rory could travel through mirrors.... Go to the other side to a whole other world. AN opposite world where everything was backwards. Rory's evil side was trapped in that place and his good side escaped. Swapped places with my poor sweet boy and left him rotting in mirror world hell. Rory hooked up with a bunch of degenerates in Detroit that call themselves the fools. Boy is a damned fool if he thinks the Dexter family has forgotten about him. He will escape his mirror prison and come back to us one day I'm sure.

Nadia is my rebel child. She is spunk and attitude, and dam if i don't love her. She hasn't shown her true potential yet, but there is a darkness inside of her heart. She is a dexter after all i know she will make mother proud.

As for me? Well, I just mothered these beautiful children. I am a proud mother and i am the only member of the Dexter clan who is not a mutant. I am 100% human, but i probably have a higher body count than all of my killer babies combined. I have other children, other family but we lost connections I don't like to speak about it. I'm hoping my other children will come home. Find me. Be with their Mother once again. That goes for all the Dexter clan. Uncles and Aunts, Nieces and Newphews. The Dexter family is one big happy murderous family.
I am looking for anyone who wants to make a character in this family of serial killers. Each of them kill for their own reasons. But they all kill. Or you could be the one black sheep of the family who doesn't murder, though i am only currently looking for one black sheep family member if anyone is interested in that role. ALL other Dexter family members are serial killers. Killing is the family tradition and traditions are strong. Mother is the matriach she leads this family of slaughters and she does it proudly. If you are interest in making a character for this family please feel free to message Kick. And no you do not have to play Nanna but if you do it has to be that face claim. Any other family member made feel free to create your own power and provide your own face claim. They do not have to look similar to any of the other Dexter family members any face claim should be fine. I have an explanation in case the face claim looks "really" off, but most faces presented i'm sure will work.
